Rosalie hates Bella because if Rosalie had the choice she would of chosen to stay human but now Bella comes along and she wants to become a vampire so Rosalie thinks Bella is choosing wrong so that's why she hates Bella.
Jacob is supposed to be the Alpha male not Sam but Jacob didn't want to be so Sam is the Alpha male.

The volturi doesn't like Edward and Bella. And all the volturi's powers and all vampire powers are don't work on Bella even when she was human.
Irina get's killed because she makes a mistake and tells the volturi that Edward and Bella have made an immortal child when they really didn't.
Aro and the other volturi really want Alice and Edward to join the volturi because Aro really likes the ability that Alice has he likes that she can see the future and even though he and Edward have the same power Aro needs more physical touch to be able to see people's mind but Edward doesn't need to he just needs to look at them and Aro thinks that it might be useful to have Edward so that he doesn't have to go up and directly touch them.
Emmet doesn't like to admit but Rosalie actually saved his life when he was human because Emmet was being mauled by a bear then Rosalie saved him and took him to Carlisle who turned him in to a vampire.
